at grandma's house

When
I was little I always went to my grandma's house in ST. ALBANS while
my

  • mom went to work.
While I was at my grandmothers house everyday we would plan a trip
to walk on the “crossroad” across the road. the
“crossroad” which is a trail for ATV's to cross. there
is nothing but trees, dirt moss and water.

When
we were walking my brother would point out the deer tracks and talk
about the smell of fresh pine tree. my grandmother, my brother and
I walked through that trail so much that we packed a trail down. Some
days we walked through it 3or 4 times. It was so much fun going down
threw that “crossroad”. In the “crossroad”
there is a little brook we had to step on rocks to cross or walk on
the old bridge and had a chance of falling in. my grandma is 80
years old but she is so much fun. When we are up to my grandmothers
we also rode our bikes through the “crossroad” We had to
slow down to go down a little hill because there is a little brook
then a big hill to ride up with a bunch of rocks and roots. This past
summer my brother and my grandmother and I had to bring the chain
saw across the road into the “crossroad” to cut up a tree
that fell down and blocked off the “crossroad”. When we
go up to my grandmothers house we still go on the “crossroad”.
Two years ago there was a tractor that was antique that was laying
on the side of the trail. When we would walk threw the “crossroad”
we would try to get it out on to the trail but we couldn't. when my
grandmothers neighbor who owns 3 green houses that are all full of
flowers and she also sells flowers came over about it and the next
day we went through the “crossroad” it was gone and we
went over to her neighbors house and it was on their front lawn. They
are robbers. one year my brother and my grandmother and I went over
in the trail in the fall and raked up the trail and we brought them
down behind my grandmothers like we always do with trees and bushes
and dirt and all of the other kinds of stuff. This year we are going
to plan a hunting trip to go over in the crossroad to hunt and we
will also go behind her house because she has 72 acres. In the
crossroad there is a little campfire were someone had a fire. It is a
really cool campfire because there is a big hanger on top for cooking
food. the crossroad is really awsome and fun to walk through.
